Out of the BOX
Leeway Schools believe to foster an environment that encourages unconventional thinking, aiming to go beyond boundaries. Our commitment to doing things differently is driven by the belief that this approach not only enhances academic excellence but also moulds students into resilient, innovative individuals. “Out of the Box” isn’t just a phrase – it’s a commitment to nurturing students who stand out in their ability.

Visit to Deaf School
At Leeway School, we go beyond textbooks to foster social responsibility. A visit to Krishnachand Chellaram School For Deaf in Ulhasnagar was organised, our students along with the students of deaf school immersed in engaging games and dancing. The aim of this unique experience was to instil empathy and inclusivity. Our School is committed to shaping not just academic achievers but empathetic individuals who contribute positively to society. Through this initiative, we aimed to cultivate a generation that not only excels academically but also recognizes the value of compassion and inclusiveness.

Visit to Old Age Home KAMALDHAM
Leeway School extends beyond academics, teaching students the importance of compassion. Our visit to Kamaldhaam Old Age Home in Ambarnath was a heartwarming experience for our students. Our students there crafted greeting cards, sang songs from a bygone era, and danced to retro tunes, bringing joy to the elderly residents. And before we left the ashram, we made our students promise to care for their parents in their golden years. Leeway School is committed to nurturing not just academic excellence but also values that resonate with kindness and empathy.

Visit to Orphanage Anugrah Orphanage
Leeway students had an amazing experience of visiting Anugrah Orphanage. This visit offered our students an opportunity to appreciate the blessings of family and parental care. During this visit, our students shared moments of joy by singing, dancing, playing games, and they even presented a delightful puppet show for the children at the orphanage. We extended our support further by providing a hearty lunch and essential stationary items to enhance their learning experience. This initiative was not just about giving; it was more about instilling a sense of appreciation in our students for the love and care they receive from their families.

Visit to Gokhale Rahalkar School
In the spirit of social contribution, Leeway School embarked and had a heartwarming visit to Gokhale Rahalkar School. Each student from Leeway School had the honour of presenting a storybook to a child at Gokhale Rahalkar School on the special occasion of Vaachan Prerna Diwas. This simple yet impactful initiative aimed not only to share the joy of reading but also to foster a sense of connection and mutual learning between the students of both schools.

Visit to NAB (National Association of Blind)
Our visit to NAB was a special visit for our students in its own way. During the visit, our students sang soulful songs. They had the opportunity to listen to the remarkable songs performed by the visually impaired individuals, witnessed their joyous dance, and observed them diligently at work. To sweeten the day, Leeway School brought along delightful treats to share. This visit aimed not only to foster empathy but also to celebrate the indomitable spirit and talents of the visually impaired.

Street Play
We at Leeway are true to our commitment of out-of-the-box thinking. Abiding that, our students conduct impactful street plays on varied social topics. On Anant Chaturdashi, to raise awareness about the eco-friendly visarjan of Ganpati students organized and conducted a street play in Palegaon area of Ambarnath. Taking the message beyond festivals, Leeway students also conducted street plays at various spots in Ambernath, focusing on educating the community about the prevention of Malaria and Dengue. These initiatives showcased the school’s dedication to the well-being of the community. Additionally, another street play emphasized the importance of saving sparrows, drawing attention to the declining population of these birds. Leeway School’s students, through these innovative and socially relevant performances, aim to ignite change and inspire the community to take proactive steps towards a healthier and more environmentally conscious future.

Taught Correct method of washing hands.
Leeway School students took the lead in a community initiative, teaching nearby villagers proper handwashing techniques. Through interactive sessions, they emphasized the importance of hygiene, contributing to overall community health. Leeway School remains dedicated to extending education beyond the classroom, creating positive impacts in the larger community.

Open Classroom
Leeway School introduces an innovative concept – the “Open Classroom” situated outdoors, adjacent to the playground. This unique learning space is designed to provide students with an immersive educational experience, allowing them to engage with the curriculum while surrounded by nature. The open-air setting fosters a dynamic and inspiring environment, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and a connection with the outdoors. At Leeway School, we believe in breaking conventional boundaries to create enriching learning spaces, and the Open Classroom is a testament to our commitment to innovative education.

Leeway Bazaar
Leeway Bazaar, was a remarkable initiative by Leeway School, our students took charge of every aspect of the event. From setting up of stalls and managing game zones to selling a diverse range of products, including delicious food items like idli, fudge, bhel puri, sweet corn, and more, the entire bazaar was orchestrated by the students themselves. This included stalls offering reading books and jewellery, showcasing the students’ entrepreneurial spirit. What made this event even more remarkable was that students handled the entire affair independently, showcasing their leadership, organizational, and entrepreneurial skills without parental supervision. Leeway Bazaar stands as a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering independence, creativity, and a hands-on learning experience for its students.

Farming
In Leeway we believe in going beyond traditional education by providing students with hands-on experiences that connect them with nature and the community. One such initiative involves taking students to nearby villages for rice plantation. This unique activity allows students to actively participate in the cultivation process, gaining insights into the intricate art of rice farming. By getting their hands muddy and engaging in the rice planting process, students not only develop a deeper understanding of agriculture but also cultivate a sense of appreciation for the hard work that goes into producing our food.
